Diversification has become a necessity for many farm businesses. Being such a broad topic, Farming Connect has set out to focus on different aspects of diversification in a series of seminars.

The next event in Monmouthshire, will include an inspirational talk from an expert in the field. The aim is to give you the opportunity to develop ideas, exchange knowledge and share experiences.

In support of Monmouthshire’s bid to establish itself as the food capital of Wales, two grants which set out to support the county’s farmers and producers have become available. The Farm and Community Shop Grants is available for farmers wishing to open or refurbish a shop selling their own or local products and also for community shops selling local produce. This event will provide more information on these schemes.

A supper of local produce will be provided therefore numbers are limited and booking is essential.
